You will now be able to see the mailbox listed in Outlook. Once you have this screen open click on the Add and type the name of the mailbox, in this case shared mailbox. To do this is slightly different depending on the version of outlook you are using. Now that we have created the mailbox and assigned permissions we need to add the mailbox to our selected users we need to open it in Outlook. Since every mailbox should be associated with a user account, linked mailboxes are usually linked with a disabled user account located in the Exchange forest where that linked mailbox exists.
